No. Substack Helper only uses publicly available endpoints and data. You don't need to log in to Substack or create an account with us.

What export formats are available?

We offer PDF and Markdown exports. PDFs include beautiful typography and customizable styling. Markdown exports are clean and compatible with any text editor or note-taking app.

Can I export paywalled posts?

No. Paywalled posts remain visible in the post list with a 'Locked' badge, but export buttons are disabled. We respect content creators' business models.

Is my data stored anywhere?

No. All PDF and Markdown generation happens directly in your browser. We never see or store your exported content or track which publications you explore.
